Tress’s Bastion
You play as Dutch, the Leader of the Imperial Guard for Empress Mane, who discovers a dark secret. The Empress has imprisoned a young girl with magical hair in order to syphon off the energy stored in her hair and use it to power her Empire. The game brings into question, “is it worth sacrificing one life to help all others?” The Empress’s goal is to make her citizens dependant on her easy source of power, thus controlling them.
Tress’s hair will keep her alive forever. The Empress is working on developing a machine that will transfer that trait to her as well so that she will rule forever.
Dutch and Tress manage to escape into the labyrinth of a city and attempt to reach Professor Mutton who is attempting to discover new forms of energy.
Characters:

Professor Mutton: A scientist working on an alternate source of power. Dutch and Tress seek him out hoping that he can help them against the Empress.
Setting:
A futuristic Metropolis. Blade Runner style with many impoverished and desperate areas.
Concepts:
Tress’s hair should be glowing with energy. To the point where she has to wear all sorts of funny large hats to hide it.
All characters will have hair styles correlating to their names. i.e. Prof. mutton will have wild mutton chops. Empress Mane, will have very prim and proper hair (which is revealed to be a huge, wild mane when not thoroughly tied)
